Bristol's new online indie marketplace

Bristol's new online indie marketplace

They’ve only gone and reskilled as cyber.

Squiggle (part of the ‘iggle’ empire along with Wriggle) is a new virtual high street for Bristol that collates loads of quality merch from local shops and producers onto one, quite swanky, website.

Just recently launched there’s already a choice of over 50 top Bristol retailers, artists, crafters and producers to choose from including Bedminster’s Storysmiths bookshop and Toyville game/toyshop, Pirrip Press on Colston Street, and People’s Republic of Stokes Croft China.

Artists and producers can request to be added to the store by filling out an online form.

Squiggle founder, Rob Hall, said: “In the first lockdown, the team at Wriggle created Bristol Pantry to help people do all their food and drink shopping from local producers. Squiggle applies the same thinking to local non-food and drink products; whether it’s flowers, plants, arts, books, toys/games or clothes - we want to capture the creative essence of Bristol, which is full of fantastic shops and makers.”

Talking about Bristol Pantry, you can use this here referral link for £5 off your first order of £30 or more. In full transparency (#AffiliateLink), I’ll get £5 credit to use too, which I can guarantee you will be immediately invested back into the local craft brewing community via several delicious tinnies.

How Squiggle and Bristol Pantry orders work:

  • Each week, customers can order from loads of great producers on bristolpantry.com and squigglebristol.com

  • Sales close out at 4pm on Wednesday - so that the team can notify the shops/producers of sales, and arrange for them to deliver to HQ in Old Market

  • Squiggle and Bristol Pantry deliver orders across Bristol each Friday
