Author Sends Tandoori Lamb Chop into Space

Remember when I wrote that review about that book called Meatspace and you were secretly disappointed that it wasn't about sending actual meat into actual space? Well my friends, it turns out there was astronautical meat after all! When author Nikesh Shukla initially released the book, he did send a fine, fine lamb chop into space. Thing is, the GPS unit attached to the weather balloon actually failed - leaving everyone twiddling their fingers and waiting to see if it was going to turn up.

Amazingly, after the lamb chop had tumbled back through the atmosphere it was found by a farmer in Yeovil... Who then proceeded to ignore all rendevouz attempts and calls. Not ideal.

Presumably, after the latest set of GoPro cameras were released and the one he was holding captive depreciated in value he decided it was time to call it a day and the camera was returned. Thus, I present to you. Meat (in) space... Also, read my review and buy the book. It's the best* book I've read all year.
