They love fun! LOVE IT! Are there reciprocal feelings? I’m not too sure. One thing is for sure, you certainly won’t leave feeling "mugged off". You could say that it will be a "smashing occasion". Oh Huey.

3. Mustard and Hot Sauce cocktails

Yes, you heard right. Moutarde. I’ll be sampling an Apple Mustard Sour (a fruity cocktail with a French’s mustard hint).

I’m I’m brutally honest, I do prefer a horseradish White Russians, but I’m willing to expand my horizons this once.

The creations, which all include Bulleit Bourbon, are the brain child of Andrea Montague, Diageo Whisky Ambassador for the UK (ANDREA WILL YOU BE MY FIRIEND?), and will only be available from the Frank’s RedHot® bar (located next to the Bucking Buffalo!).

Andrea explained; “It’s not about food ‘or’ drink anymore, it’s about collaborating. More chefs are using spirits in their cooking, and in turn, mixologists are experimenting with all sorts of foodie ingredients in their cocktails to achieve some very unique flavours. Take the Apple and French’s Mustard Sour, for example. By mixing together apple, mustard and bourbon you get a complimentary flavour that brings out the spice of the bourbon and the sweetness of the mustard.

2. Party in my Pans

It’s not all red meat at Grillstock. Soaking the pages of Daily Mail with delicious fishy broth will be ‘PIMP’ - a southern American style shellfish boil served on newspaper.

I have it on good authority from SL blogger Shonette that PIMP is a must visit and from the looks of it I’d have to agree.

1. Eating Competitions

A true slice of Americana. Well, many a slice. This year we will be treated to chili eating, hot wing and hot dog eating competition! Those who take part (especially in the chili eating competition), I salute you all!
